Noah's Reflection

Throughout my time in crochet club, I not only taught my peers new techniques, but I experimented on my own. Neither of these tasks were easy. The most challenging part of the process was the beginning when a few of my group members had to overcome the learning curve. It was a lot of trial and error, and through it all, I amassed a fair number of pieces. These were scraps, specifically made to practice and perfect certain techniques we were learning. I decided to take some of the best scraps and stitch them together in a patchwork art project. The scraps I chose are quite different from the pieces our group made because I wanted to show the techniques that helped me grow creatively and technically despite not having used them in the final scarves and hats. The result is something that really delves into my process in working on this project.
