The Process

Working on the CAS project was a learning process for everyone, including the teachers. For those who were learning, we began to strategize about the different ways that we could learn as fast as possible in order to reach the goal within the allotted time. For the teachers, they had to practice how they could teach without doing the easy thing of reaching their hands in and doing the work.
Overall, having this combination of students was helpful in helping extend on our creative abilities. The homely feel that existed was something that we felt matched well with the goal of the Bowery Mission.
