Why we chose the Bowery Mission

The Bowery Mission is dedicated to helping at-risk individuals in New York, especially at-risk youth. The location, as well as the dedication to helping at-risk youth drew up to the Bowery Mission. The location reflected the artistic aspect of our project, with the Bowery historically being an artistic area. Furthermore, the connection to the youth of New York moved us to donate the clothing we created to the Bowery Mission. We were especially sensitive to at-risk youth because we could easily become at-risk ourselves.
